Can an app like this be made for older apple phones? I have the 6 and I think this app is pretty cool but I’m one of the unsupported devices.

So back in the fall I got a I phone 8, and I made a list of all the pros and cons with the I phone 8. All I can say is that one of my pros were that I could use the Animoji thing, now yes I get that there has to be a special type of camera, but why is that the problem? I mean that can’t be the only thing I don’t get it? Why do you need that. Somebody pls explain!
